just some words

well, I was wrong

the illness was not food related

but was a stomach bug

and it hit with

much force

upon four other chilren

including the youngest

I was up with her for most of the night

and early morning

it was not fun and

most certainly not pretty

but after a few hours

of sleep

the four seem better

thankfully this seems

to be a 24 hour bug

and not longer

I am encouraged by

this scripture:

"we are afflicted in every way,

but not crushed; perplexed,

but not despairing;

persecuted, but not forsaken;

struck down, but not destroyed;

always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus,

so that the life of Jesus also may be 

manifested in our body."
